Dispose of any item that could be potentially infectious, or contains blood, as clinical waste
Always separate waste into the appropriate waste stream
Dispose of items with vomit, saliva, urine or faeces in the regular waste, unless visible blood or a potential infectious risk is present
Wear gloves when handling clinical waste bins and wash your hands afterwards
Dispose of all bodies correctly (ideally via incineration), including neonates, wildlife and strays
